DNHDD Primary, Upper Primary School Teacher Eligibility Criteria

Designation	Qualification
For Primary School Teacher (Class I to V)	(A) Senior Secondary (Or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (By whatever name known). OR Senior Secondary (Or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (By whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations-2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR Graduation with a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (By whatever name known). (B) Must have passed the CTET or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) as applicable for the post of primary school teacher conducted by the Central Government or any State Government in India, as per the guidelines prescribed by the NCTE. (C) The candidate must have studied in the relevant medium at the secondary level.
For Upper Primary School Teacher (Class VI to VIII)	(A) Graduation and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (By whatever name known). OR At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation and B.Ed. OR Graduation with minimum 45% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition, Standards and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR With a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary (Class 12) Passed) and a 4-year Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR With a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary (Class 12) Passed) and a 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed./B.Com.Ed. OR Graduation with a minimum 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education). (B) Must have passed the CTET or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) as applicable for the post of Upper Primary school teacher conducted by the Central Government or any State Government in India, as per the guidelines prescribed by the NCTE. (C) The candidate must have studied in the relevant medium at the secondary level. (Not applicable for language subjects like Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi, English etc.)
