DHBVN Assistant Engineer Selection Process

1. The candidates who have acquired the essential qualification as mentioned at.No.3 above and must have qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE2022/ GATE-2023/ GATE-2024/ GATE-2025) asthe case may be, conducted by respective NT/ MScin corresponding paperi.e. Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Civil Engineering (CE) shall only be eligible to be considered forselection.
2. The selection of the candidates in each category would be done by the HPUs from the eligible candidates as given in para (i) above, on the basis score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2022/ GATE-2023/ GATE-2024/GATE-2025) in the respective discipline as required by the HPUs. An equal weight would be given to GATE-2022 or GATE-2023 or GATE-2024, or GATE-2025.
3. The minimum qualifying cut-off marks in respect of GATE-2022/ GATE-2023/GATE-2024/GATE-2025 shall be as declared by GATE Organizing Institute (respective NT/ MSc) for respective GATE paper/ discipline/ category
4. The selection process consists of a valid score of GATE (out of 1000) obtained in the corresponding paper of GATE-2023 / GATE-2024 / GATE-2025 score of GATE-2022 (as a one-time measure). No interview will be carried out for the posts being advertised by HPUs. The score of GATE- 2021 or prior will not be entertained.
5. The applicant would be required to fill up the valid score of GATE (out of 1000) obtained in GATE-2023 / GATE-2024 / GATE-2025 or the score of GATE-2022 (as a one-time measure), whichever is higher, during online submission of the application.
6. Besides this, Educational qualifications must be from a recognized Institution/ University,/ Board.
