CTET February 2026 Application Fee

Only Paper- I or II

• Gen, OBC(NCL): Rs. 1000/-
• SC, ST, PH: Rs. 500/-

Both Papers I & II

• Gen, OBC(NCL): Rs. 1200/-
• SC, ST, PH: Rs. 600/-

• The candidates are required to deposit the requisite examination fees online through Internet Banking, Debit, or Credit Card.

CTET February 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. National Council for Teacher Education (Determination of Minimum Qualifications for Persons to be recruited as Education Teachers and Physical Education Teachers in Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Senior Secondary or Intermediate Schools or Colleges) Regulations as amended and notified from time to time.
2. Minimum qualifications laid down in the Recruitment Rules for the teachers by the Appropriate Government where the school is situated, or the Recruitment Rules for the teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan or Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
3. The candidate should satisfy his/her eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible in case he/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria. It is to be noted that if a candidate has been allowed to appear in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, it does not imply that the candidate’s eligibility has been verified. It does not vest any right in the candidate for appointment. The eligibility shall be finally verified by the concerned recruiting agency / appointing authority.

• A recent passport-size photo with a white or light-colored background
• Signature on plain white paper using a black or blue pen (not in capital letters)
• Disability certificate (if applicable)

How to Apply for the CTET February 2026 2025

1. Candidates need to visit the official website of https://ctet.nic.in or the link given in the link section.
2. STEP 1: Log on to the CTET official website
3. STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
4. STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
5. STEP 4: Upload the latest Scanned Photograph and Signature
6. STEP 5: Pay the Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking.
7. STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference
