CSIR NCL Technical Assistants and Technician Eligibility Criteria

• SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in related Discipline OR
• SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks and 02 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognised institution in the related Discipline OR
• SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks and 03 years of work experience in a related Discipline in a Ministry / Department / Organisation / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body under the Government of India / State / UT.

• For Technical Assistant: Level-06 (Rs. 35,400- 1,12,400), Total Emoluments: Rs. 72,000/- (approximately)
• For Technician (1): Level-02 (Rs. 19,900- 63,200), Total Emoluments: Rs. 40,000/- (approximately)

CSIR NCL Technical Assistants and Technician Selection Process

• A Selection Committee duly constituted by the Director, CSIR-NCL, shall shortlist candidates fulfilling the terms and conditions of this advertisement. However, detailed scrutiny will be done only at the time of final selection.
• The candidates as recommended/shortlisted by the duly constituted Screening Committee will be called for the Trade Test, which is mandatory for all the posts. However, it will be qualifying in nature.
• Individuals who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited to appear in the competitive written examination consisting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III.
• Paper-II and Paper-III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper-I.
• The Final Merit List will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II and Paper-III.
