For Foreign Exchange Officer (Middle Management Grade Scale III):

Educational Qualifications

Full time Graduation from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/ University Grants Commission (UGC) approved University/College in any discipline. Preference shall be given to candidates having a professional qualification, CFA/CA, MBA in the relevant stream.

Certificate in Foreign Exchange Operations from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF).

Other Preferred Certification
  1. Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
  2. Certificate in Trade Finance and/or in Foreign Exchange Facilities for Individuals (IIBF).
  3. CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist)
  4. CITF (Certificate in International Trade and Finance)
  5. NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) Certifications in Treasury / Derivatives (for treasury-linked roles)
Work Experience

Minimum 5 years as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank (SCBs), out of which three years mandatorily in Trade Finance / Forex operations/IBU-Gift City, and should be currently working in the forex domain, preferably in sales/business development. (Candidates from Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFCs) / Regional Rural Bank (RRBs) / Cooperative Banks/Insurance sector, either regular or part-time, shall not be eligible)

For Marketing Officer (Junior Management Grade Scale I):

Educational Qualifications

Full time Graduation from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/ University Grants Commission (UGC) approved University/College and Two years Full time Master of Business Administration (MBA)/Post- Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA)/ Post- Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM)/ Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM)/ Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with Major specialization in Marketing.

Work Experience

Post Qualification experience of two years, out of which one year of continuous experience in the marketing domain in an organization (Banking, financial services, and Insurance- BFSI), and should be currently employed in the marketing domain.

How to Apply for Central Bank of India Marketing Officer, Foreign Exchange Officer 2026

(1) Candidates need to visit the official website of the Central Bank of India or the link given in the link section.

(2) Candidates will have to click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form. After that, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An email and SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using the Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars if needed.

(3) Candidates are required to upload their
– Photograph
– Signature
– Left thumb impression
– A handwritten declaration
– Certificate as mentioned in clause J (ix) (if applicable)
– SSC/ SSLC/ 10th standard or equivalent certificate
– Candidates will also be required to capture and upload their live photograph through webcam or mobile phone during the registration process.

(4) Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves, as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible/ entertained. Before submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on the COMPLETE REGISTRATION Button. Visually Impaired candidates are responsible for carefully verifying/filling in the details in the online application form properly, and ensuring that the same are correct before submission, as no change is possible after submission.

(5) Digi Locker has been integrated with the online application form. The candidate may provide access to issued credentials/documents (Aadhaar, Educational Qualification Documents, etc.) and information (Name, Date of Birth, Gender, etc.) through Digi Locker voluntarily.
