BSEB Bihar D.El.Ed 2026 Age Limit

The minimum age limit of the candidate will be 17 years (as on the first date of the first month of the year of enrolment) (for all categories).

BSEB Bihar D.El.Ed 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission to the D.El.Ed. course.
There will be a 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks for all reserved category/disabled candidates for admission.
Urdu candidates who have passed the Maulvi examination with 50% marks will be eligible for admission to the D.El.Ed. course.
Those candidates who will appear in the annual examination of Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent in the year 2026 will also be able to apply to appear in the examination to be conducted for admission in D.El.Ed. course, but admission in D.El.Ed. The course will be given to the candidate who passes the Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination by securing 50% marks (05% relaxation for reserved category candidates).
The marks obtained by the candidate who passes will be the same. Candidates holding a Shastri, Polytechnic, ITI, or any other qualification will not be eligible for admission to the D.El.Ed. Program. course. However, any candidate who has qualified in 10+2 under a vocational course or who has qualified Intermediate 10+2 after Madhyama or Intermediate 10+2 after Fokania will be eligible for admission in the D.El.Ed. course.

BSEB Bihar D.El.Ed 2026 Selection Process

According to the merit list prepared based on marks obtained in the D.El.Ed. Online Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board, colleges will be allotted to the candidates in online computerized manner as per the reservation rules of the State Government of Bihar for admission to Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course in all the government and non-government affiliated teacher education institutions of Bihar, keeping in view the seats reserved by the Government for Urdu and Arts/Commerce and Science subjects and the college choice given by the candidates.

How to Apply for BSEB Bihar D.El.Ed 2026 Exam

Candidates need to visit the official website or the link given in the link section.
Register for Online Form submission using your Email ID and Mobile Number, and note down the system-generated Application Number.
Complete the Online Application Form by filling in all required details such as name, Date of Birth, father’s Name, and other details.
Upload scanned Documents, i.e., image, signature, Category certificate, and other required.
Pay the required fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI, and keep proof of fee paid for future reference.
After the submission of the Online Application Form (i.e., successful completion of Step 3), the Confirmation Page of the Application Form should be downloaded, and a printout of the same may be retained for future reference. The Confirmation Page of the online application form can be generated only after the candidate has made a successful payment.
