Bihar BPSC Deputy Director Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:  Bachelor’s degree from science faculty from a recognized institution or Bachelor (Fire Engineering) or Engineering Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/automobile subject and must have passed the Divisional Officer Course from the National Fire College, Nagpur, or completed the prescribed training for the senior supervisory officer of a minimum of three months from other institutions recognized by the Central Government.

Experience: Work experience of at least 12 years in fire fighting area, with a minimum of minimum two years in a senior supervisory equivalent post.

How to Apply for Bihar BPSC Deputy Director 2026

Go to the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission or the link given in the link section.

A. One-Time Registration (OTR)

  1. For OTR, candidates will click on the New User Registration button.
  2. Remember, OTR is not an application for any examination. It is only for collecting information from the applicants and giving each applicant a separate dashboard to facilitate them in maintaining their profile.
  3. Using a valid active email ID and mobile number is mandatory to do OTR. If your email OTP is not shown in your email inbox, then check Spam.
  4. Candidates can make only one OTR registration. If any candidate makes more than one OTR, then this may lead to rejection/ cancellation of your application.
  5. Those candidates who have already done One Time Registration (OTR) while applying through the online portal, they too will also be required to complete the OTR process afresh on the new portal.
  6. To access the online application dashboard, candidates shall log in at the URL: https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login using their Mobile number / Email ID and password created by the candidate.

B. INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIGILOCKER ACCOUNT:-

  1. After completion of the OTR process, the Meri Pehchan Portal of Digilocker will open. Candidates who have a Digilocker account will have to sign in by giving consent to the Digilocker account to OAMS. If the applicant does not have a Digilocker account, they can create a Digilocker account by signing up. They will complete the further process by giving consent to Digilocker to OAMS.
  2. If the applicant has already uploaded documents on DigiLocker and given access to OAMS, they can link those documents to OAMS directly from there.
  3. If the applicant does not want to proceed through the Digilocker portal, then after clicking on the Back button of the browser, the online application portal will open. The further process will be completed by entering the login credentials on the online application portal.
