BHEL Haridwar Apprentices Eligibility Criteria

For Graduate Apprenticeship:

Candidates who have completed their graduation (B.Tech./B.E.) as regular students in the relevant branch from a recognized institution in May 2023 or later, with a minimum of 65% marks for General/EWS/Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) categories and a minimum of 60% marks for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe categories.

For Technician Apprenticeship:

Candidates must have passed a Diploma in the relevant branch from a recognized institution as a regular student in May 2023 or later. General/EWS/Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must have secured a minimum of 65% marks, and Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks.

BHEL Haridwar Apprentices Selection Process

All candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. The selection of candidates for the apprenticeship will be based on merit, taking into account a 70% weightage for the graduation (B.E./B.Tech.)/diploma percentage and a 30% weightage for the high school percentage. In case of a tie in the weighted average of marks obtained in graduation (B.E./B.Tech.)/diploma, and high school, preference will be given based on the B.E./B.Tech./diploma percentage, and if that is also the same, the older candidate will be given priority.
If the number of eligible candidates in a particular branch is less than or equal to the number of vacancies, all eligible candidates will be directly called for training.

How to Apply for BHEL Haridwar Apprentices 2025

Candidates need to visit the official website of BHEL Haridwar or the link given in the link section.
Step – 1: Candidates are required to register on the https://nats.education.gov.in portal and complete their profile. After registration, the registration number/Enrolment No. received from the said portal must be compulsorily entered while applying for BHEL Haridwar.
Step – 2: Candidates registered on the https://nats.education.gov.in portal can fill out the online application form (APPLY ONLINE) available under the link “Engagement of Graduate & Diploma Apprenticeship for February 2026, Batch” on the BHEL Haridwar website https://hwr.bhel.com/recruitment for the above-mentioned training. Please follow the given instructions for all information related to filling out, submitting the application form, and the selection process.
Candidates are advised to fill in all their details accurately in the online application form, including their name, father’s name, date of birth, caste, high school and graduation/diploma marks, etc., as the information provided will be used as the basis for selection. Any errors made by the candidate while filling out the form will be their sole responsibility.
While filling out the online application form, candidates must fill in all their details in Part 1 of the online application form and then, in Part 2, upload the other documents mentioned in point number 2 of the general instructions given below, in the prescribed format and size.
After completely filling out the online application form on the above-mentioned BHEL Haridwar website, take a printout of the online acknowledgement slip and place it in an envelope along with the other documents mentioned in point number 3 of the general instructions. Write “Application Form for Graduate Apprentice Training February 2026 Batch” for Graduate Apprenticeship and “Application Form for Technician Apprentice Training February 2026 Batch” for Technician Apprenticeship on the envelope. The envelope must be submitted in person or by post to the following address by January 14, 2026. Application forms received after the last date by any means will not be accepted.
