Assam Police Pharmacist, Dresser & Others Eligibility Criteria
For Tailor
- H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a Govt. recognized Board or Council.
- Diploma of Tailoring from the Institute recognized by Govt. of Assam.
- Trade skill including the ability to operate both automatic and manual (foot/hand-driven) sewing machines. Knowledge on fabric and human body shape, sewing equipments etc.
For Dresser
- H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a Govt. recognized Board or Council.
- 02 (two) years’ experience certificate on Dresser (Medical) work from a Govt. recognized Institute.
- Trade skill including knowledge on contamination, sterilization, and disinfection of instruments, preparation of chlorine solution, antiseptic & aseptic conditions, procedure of decontamination, Cleaning & Bandaging wounds and other affected body parts
For Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a Govt. Medical College.
For Craft Instructor
- H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a Govt. recognized Board or Council.
- Certificate in Bamboo & Cane work /Tailoring/Weaving/Soap making from ITI or such other recognized Institute.
For Craft Helper
- H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a Govt. recognized Board or Council.
- 1 month Certificate in Carpentry from the Industrial Training Institute or such other recognized Institute.
For Yoga Instructor & Yoga Instructress
- HS Passed
- Diploma in Yoga from a recognized Institute.
For Pharmacist
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a Govt. Medical College
- Registration under the Assam Pharmacy Council.

- Must have sound health both mentally and physically, and free from organic defect or bodily infirmity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his duty.
- Shall be required to undergo a medical examination before appointment to the service.

How to Apply for Assam Police Pharmacist, Dresser & Others 2026
- Candidates need to visit the official website of https://slprbassam.in/ or the link given in the link section.
- Applicants must register in the application portal only once for all Advertisements. Candidature will be cancelled if an applicant generates multiple Application IDs using different mobile numbers.
- Applicants must register using their name exactly as it appears on their HSLC Certificate. Father’s name and Mother’s name must also be entered correctly.
- Applicants must register using a valid mobile number and provide the following information accurately
a) Employment Exchange Number
b) Highest Qualification Details
c) Permanent District
d) Gender
e) Caste/Category
f) Date of Birth
g) Aadhaar Number - After successful registration, an Application ID will be generated. Keep this ID safe for future reference.
- Applicants can log in to the Portal using their Application ID or Registered Mobile Number along with their Date of Birth. Applicants are advised to keep their mobile numbers active and unchanged until the recruitment process is over.
- After login, Applicants must follow the steps mentioned below:
