Assam Police Grade IV Eligibility Criteria
Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- II (Non- Technical)
Minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School or Institution, and the maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Certificate required :
Cook:- Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. or Minimum 01 (one) year working experience, Certificate from a recognized/registered Cooking Institution or Hotel will carry 5 marks. Registered Cooking Institute/Hotel registration number must be reflected in the Certificate.
Barber:- Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. Or Minimum 01 (one) year experience Certificate from a registered Saloon/Beauty Parlour will carry 5 marks. Registered Saloon /Parlour registration Number must be reflected in the Certificate. Water
Carrier:- Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks.
Dhobi:- Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. Or Minimum 01 (one) year experience Certificate from a registered Laundry /Dry Cleaner will carry 5 marks. Registered Laundry/Dry Cleaner registration Number must be reflected in the Certificate.
Cobbler:- Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. Or two years’ experience in leather work, such as preparation of shoes from a Central/State Government Institution.
Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- I (Technical)
Minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School or Institution, and the maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Certificate required:
Plumber:- Minimum one-year Certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institution/ Vocational Institute will carry 5 marks

How to Apply for Assam Police Grade IV 2026
- Candidates need to visit the official website of https://slprbassam.in/ or the link given in the link section.
- Applicants must register in the application portal only once for all Advertisements. Candidature will be cancelled if an applicant generates multiple Application IDs using different mobile numbers.
- Applicants must register using their name exactly as it appears on their HSLC Certificate. Father’s name and Mother’s name must also be entered correctly.
- Applicants must register using a valid mobile number and provide the following information accurately
a) Employment Exchange Number
b) Highest Qualification Details
c) Permanent District
d) Gender
e) Caste/Category
f) Date of Birth
g) Aadhaar Number - After successful registration, an Application ID will be generated. Keep this ID safe for future reference.
- Applicants can log in to the Portal using their Application ID or Registered Mobile Number along with their Date of Birth. Applicants are advised to keep their mobile numbers active and unchanged until the recruitment process is over.
- After login, Applicants must follow the steps mentioned below:
a) Apply for the relevant Advertisement.
b) Upload necessary documents.
c) Select post preferences (if applicable).
d) Fill in personal details, upload a photograph, signature, and required Certificates.
e) Enter academic details carefully.
f) Generate OTP and download the Acknowledgement Slip
