Assam Police Forest Guard, Forester & Others Online Application 2026- Important Dates, Exam Date, Salary, Notification PDF: The State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam (SLPRB Assam) has released a notification for the filling up posts of FORESTER GRADE-I, FOREST GUARD, GAME WATCHER, AFPF CONSTABLE IN FOREST DEPARTMENT, CONSTABLE (WO/WT) & CONSTABLE (UB) IN APRO, SUB OFFICER, FIREMAN & EMERGENCY RESCUER IN FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES, CONSTABLE (GRADE-III), BANDMAN (CONSTABLE) & BUGLER UNDER DGCD & CGHG AND BOATMAN IN ASSAM POLICE. The Online application starts from 22 January 2026. Interested Candidates can fill out the Assam Police Forest Guard, Forester & Others online form until 22 February 2026. Candidates must read the official notification before applying.
State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam (SLPRB Assam)
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
B. Sub Officer & Constable (WO/WT):-
H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The Candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for these posts.
C. Fireman & Emergency Rescuer:-
H.S. (Science) passed from a recognized Board or Council.
D. Forest Guard, Game Watcher & Constable (UB) in APRO:-
H.S. (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
E. AFPF Constable, Constable (Grade-III), Bandman (Constable) & Bugler:-
HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Mandatory Qualifications for Constable (Grade-III), Bandman (Constable) & Bugler (for Applicants except Ex-Servicemen): Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC „A‟ Certificate.
For the post of Bandman (Constable), Proficiency in specific instruments [i.e,. playing Bagpipes (great Highland bagpipes), Snare Drums, Tenor Drums, and Bass Dru,m etc.]
For the post of Bugler, Proficiency in a specific instrument [i.e., playing Bugle]
F. Boatman:-
Essential –
Passed HSLC or equivalent examination under any Govt. recognized board.
Proficiency in swimming
Preferable-
Higher Educational qualifications
Proficiency in Sports
Proficiency in Martial arts
Experience of serving as Home Guard

How to Apply for Assam Police Forest Guard, Forester & Others 2026
Candidates need to visit the official website of https://slprbassam.in/ or the link given in the link section.
Applicants must register in the application portal only once for all Advertisements. Candidature will be cancelled if an applicant generates multiple Application IDs using different mobile numbers.
Applicants must register using their name exactly as it appears on their HSLC Certificate. Father’s name and Mother’s name must also be entered correctly.
Applicants must register using a valid mobile number and provide the following information accurately a) Employment Exchange Number b) Highest Qualification Details c) Permanent District d) Gender e) Caste/Category f) Date of Birth g) Aadhaar Number
After successful registration, an Application ID will be generated. Keep this ID safe for future reference.
Applicants can log in to the Portal using their Application ID or Registered Mobile Number along with their Date of Birth. Applicants are advised to keep their mobile numbers active and unchanged until the recruitment process is over.
After login, Applicants must follow the steps mentioned below: a) Apply for the relevant Advertisement. b) Upload necessary documents. c) Select post preferences (if applicable). d) Fill in personal details, upload a photograph, signature, and required Certificates. e) Enter academic details carefully. f) Generate OTP and download the Acknowledgement Slip
