Assam LP UP Teacher Eligibility Criteria

Post Name	Qualification
Special Educator in LP School	Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India-RCI. The candidate must have the ATET/CTET passed certificate for LP Schools.
Special Educator in UP School	Graduate with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India-RCI. The candidate must have the ATET/CTET passed certificate for UP Schools.

1. The candidate, as on 30th September, 2025, must be working as Contractual and State Pool Teachers under SSA.
2. The candidate must complete a minimum of 3 years of continuous service as on 30th September, 2025, as Contractual and State Pool teachers under SSA.
3. The required academic and professional qualifications for eligibility will be as per NCTE norms, as well as existing Government rules and conditions.

Assam LP UP Teacher Salary Details

Salary: – initial Pay of Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”.
