Who Should Apply for the RUHS Common Undergraduate Entrance Test?
1. Bachelor of Science Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing)
- A candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate examination (Science-Medical group) conducted by a statutory Board at the end of 12 years of study under the 10+2 pattern of the Secondary Education in all the compulsory subjects and the optional subjects of the Medical group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) or any other examination recognised by the RUHS.
- The candidates should have a minimum of forty-five per cent (45%) marks and forty per cent (40%) for natural born scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the qualifying examination and with English as a compulsory subject in class 10+2.
2. Allied and Health Care Profession
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.PT): Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (or Botany & Zoology) with 50% aggregate with English pass. However, in respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or Other Backward Classes (NCL), the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are taken together in the qualifying examination shall be 40% marks instead of 50% marks for Unreserved and General-EWS candidates. In respect of PwBD/PwD candidates, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. An English pass is required for all categories.
- Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom.): Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics with 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B. MLS): Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany + Zoology) subjects with 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Radiation Therapy Technology (B.RTT): Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects with 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (B.MRIT): Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects.
3. Pharmacy Courses (a) Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm). Course (b) Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm). Course
- A pass in 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination (with English, Physics and Chemistry subjects along with Biology and/or Mathematics in 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination) in academic session 2025-26 or earlier.
