This is a one-time registration (OTR) fee. Candidates who paid this fee before need not pay again.

RSSB Rajasthan Lab Assistant Eligibility Criteria

(i) For the Department of Secondary Education:-

Essential Qualification:- Senior Secondary with at least three of the following subjects as optional subjects under the teaching wing of Group A of the Rajasthan Education (State & Subordinate) Service Rules-2021- Schedule: Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics.
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of working in Hindi written in Devanagari script, and knowledge of Rajasthan culture

(ii) Department of Agriculture:

Higher Secondary with Science or Senior Higher Secondary with Science from a recognized Board

(iii) For the Department of Sanskrit Education:-

Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary / Varishtha Upadhyay with Science as an optional subject

(iv) For Home Department (State Forensic Science Laboratory):-

(a) Passed Senior Secondary Examination with Science in Second Division or an equivalent examination declared by the Government. And
(b) Certificate/Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Applications, or a Degree from a University established by law in India or an Institution recognized by the State/Central Government with at least one of the subjects in Computer Science/Computer Applications. Or
O Level or higher Certificate Course from NIELIT (Formerly DOEACC Society), New Delhi Or
Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) is conducted by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota.
The above eligibility and educational qualification for the State Forensic Science Laboratory is same for the posts of Laboratory Assistant (Photo), Laboratory Assistant (Other than Photo), and Junior Laboratory Assistant.

(v) For the Department of Public Health Engineering-

Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination in the Science stream with Chemistry from a recognized Board

(vi) For the Department of College Education:-

Senior Secondary (including Geography subject) from a recognized board

How to Apply for RSSB Rajasthan Lab Assistant 2026

Go to the official website of RSSB, the SSO Portal, or the link given in the link section.

(A) After logging in through the SSO portal, the candidate must select the Recruitment Portal available under Citizen Apps (G2C). Then, the candidate will click on “Apply Now”. If the candidate has not yet paid the one-time registration fee for OTR (One Time Registration), they must first go to the OTR (One Time Registration) tab, enter their category (Unreserved (UR) or Reserved (EWS/OBC-NC/MBC-NC/SC/ST/SAH) category), disability status, and home state details, and then pay the prescribed fee.

(B) In the online application, candidates will only be able to fill in options corresponding to the category, disability status, and home state they selected during the One Time Registration (OTR) process. Therefore, candidates should fill out the OTR process carefully. After completing the OTR process, candidates will be able to apply through their SSO ID.

(C) The applicant is required to capture a live photo in the application form and submit the application. Applicants must also fill in their visible body marks in the online application. During the recruitment application process, candidates will have to verify their identity in the application form, for which they will have the option to choose one of the following verification methods.

Aadhaar Card-Based Verification:
If the candidate generates the OTR (One Time Registration) using their Aadhaar card, no further verification will be required.
If the OTR (One Time Registration) is generated through SSO/Jan-Aadhaar, the candidate will have to verify the following information in the application form:
The candidate must enter their Aadhaar number, and then the information entered in the data (candidate’s name, father’s name, and date of birth) will be verified.

(D) If an Aadhaar card is not available, the applicant must declare their consent in the application form. After making this declaration, the applicant will verify their name, father’s name, and date of birth (profile details) by choosing one of the following three options:

Original Certificate Option: The candidate will enter the serial number of their original certificate, and then click on the “Fetch” button. The data will then be verified against the data of the Domicile/Bonafide certificates (original certificates).
Option to link with 10th Board Marksheet through DigiLocker: The candidate will enter the name of their 10th class board, roll number, and the year in which they passed the 10th class, and then self-verify the details.
If the candidate is unable to verify their details through any of the above processes, they must make the following declaration: “I am unable to verify my profile details. Candidates will be present at the examination center one and a half hours before the scheduled time for biometric verification.”

After verification, as mentioned, the candidate will be able to fill out the application through the prescribed procedure.
