Who Should Apply for the RBI Assistant?

• Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and knowledge of word processing on a PC.
• candidates belonging to the Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognised University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
• Candidates applying for a post in a particular Recruiting Office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the Recruiting Office.

RBI Assistant Syllabus / Exam Pattern

• The pre-exam has 100 MCQs worth 100 marks. Total exam duration is 60 Minutes.
• The pre-exam has 3 sections: English Language (30 questions, 30 marks, 20 minutes), Numerical Ability (35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes), Reasoning Ability (35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes).
• The Main-exam has 200 MCQs worth 200 marks. Total exam duration is 135 Minutes.
•  Reasoning: 40 questions of 40 marks, duration 30 minutes. English language 40 questions of 40 marks, duration 30 minutes. Numerical Ability: 40 questions of 40 marks, duration 30 minutes. Test of General Awareness: 40 questions of 40 marks, duration 25 minutes. Computer Knowledge: 40 questions of 40 marks, duration 20 minutes.
• Language Proficiency Test (LPT) will be conducted.

  • To get registered, the candidate will enter details such as name, e-mail, category, and mobile number.
  • Registered Candidate Log in using their Registration Number and Date of Birth, and fill in all required personal details.
  • The candidate has filled in their Educational qualifications, Address, and other details that were asked for.
  • Upload photo, signature, and other details in JPG OR PDF Format.
  • Make an online payment.
  • Ensure the fee submission is completed and finalised.
