NLC Security Guard Application Fee

Ex-servicemen Candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee. However, they have to pay a non- refundable amount of INR 236/- (inclusive of 18% GST) towards processing fee.
The candidates are required to deposit the requisite examination fees online through internet banking, debit, or credit card.

NLC Security Guard Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Educational Qualification: Pass in X Std. / SSLC / Matriculation

Length & Area of PostQualification Work experience:

Candidates should have worked in the Indian Army/ Navy / Air Force for at least 15 years as on the crucial date, and also should have registered with the District Sainik Welfare Board as on the crucial date.
Desirable:
1. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the local language (i.e Tamil)
2. Knowledge of playing band instruments in the Armed Forces.

Salary: Grade W-3, Pay Scale (₹) 20,000 – 81,000, 5.47 lakhs CTC per Annum (in INR approx.)

NLC Security Guard Selection Process

Only those candidates who produce all the necessary original documents and are found eligible during document verification against the notified eligibility criteria will be allowed to attend the further Selection process (i.e., Written Test & Physical Test)
Selection will be based on Written Test (100 marks – 70% Weightage), Performance Rating and Service Weightage (20 marks – 15% Weightage), and Physical Test (30 marks – 15% Weightage)

Before registering/applying online, the candidates should ensure that they have a mobile number and a valid & active personal email ID and keep them active for the entire duration of selection, as NLCIL will send all selection-related communications only through SMS/email till the selection process is completed.
Candidates have to upload the required scanned copies of documents/certificates in the prescribed format to establish their eligibility, failing which the application is liable for rejection.
Candidates should submit a single application only for the post. In case of multiple applications/registrations for the post, the last registered application shall only be considered.
Candidates should ensure that they have uploaded the required documents before submitting applications. For their benefit, after uploading a document, the “View Document” option will be provided in the online portal to check.
After uploading the required documents/certificates, candidates should submit their application online. Candidates should take a printout of the registration cum application form and produce it along with self-attested copies of certificates/documents at the time of Document / Certificate verification.
Scrutiny of applications for short listing of candidates for Selection will be solely based on documents/certificates uploaded by the candidates at the time of registration/submission of application through ONLINE.
No manual/paper applications will be entertained, and candidates are advised not to send any hard copy to this office.
