Who Should Apply for the Operator, Staff Nurse, & Others?
For Operator (Trainee) posts
- Candidates should have passed Matriculate / SSC/ High School or equivalent from any recognized Board of Secondary / Higher Secondary Education of Indian State(s).
- Valid HMV/ Transport License issued by any RTA/ RTO of the Indian State(s).
Staff Nurse (Trainee), T&S Grade C
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of examination.
- Recognized Bachelor of Nursing (B. Sc. Nursing)/Recognized Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Institute approved by the Government.
- Candidate must have a valid registration from any State Nursing Council
Pharmacist (Trainee), T&S Grade C
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Science from any recognized Board of examination.
- Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized /approved by the Pharmacy Council/ Central/ state
- The candidate should possess a valid registration with the Pharmacy Council under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
Technician (Pathological) (Trainee), T&S Grade C
- A diploma in Pathology from an institute recognized by the Government.
Technician (Dental) (Trainee), T&S Grade D
- Higher Secondary (10+2)/ Intermediate.
- Diploma in Dentistry/Dental Technology from an institute recognized by the Government.
Physiotherapist (Trainee), T&S Grade C
- Diploma in Physiotherapy from an institute recognized by the Govt. (minimum 3-year course)
Technician (Refraction/Optometry) (Trainee), T&S Grade D
- Higher Secondary (10+2)/ Intermediate.
- Diploma in Refraction/Optometry from an institute recognized by the Government.
Technician (Radiographer) (Trainee), T&S Grade C
- A diploma in Radiography from an institute recognized by the Government.
Jr. Technician (ECG)(Trainee), T&S Grade D
- Higher Secondary (10+2)/ Intermediate.
- Two years’ experience certificates as an ECG Technician in a hospital under a Cardiologist/ Physician or in a reputed Nursing home having an ECG service under a Cardiologist/ Physician.
Overseer (Civil), T&S Grade C
- Should have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination.
- Should possess a recognized Diploma in Civil Engineering. (3 Years course).
NCL Operator, Staff Nurse, & Others Salary Details
- For Posts 1 to 6: Basic Pay- Rs. 1502.66 per day
- For Posts 7 to 11: Basic pay Rs. 47330.25 per month
- For Posts 12 to 14: Basic Pay Rs. 43775.55 per month
- For Post 15: Basic Pay Rs. 47330.25 per month

NCL Operator, Staff Nurse, & Others Exam Pattern
- For this post, a computer-based test will be conducted. This exam has 100 MCQs of 100 Marks. Exam duration is 90 minutes.
- Section ‘A’ will consist of technical knowledge (discipline-related) with 70 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
- Section ‘B’ will consist of General Knowledge, General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude with 30 marks multiple choice questions (MCQs)
- Each question will carry 01 mark, and there is no penalty for a wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks for UR/EWS is 50% and 40% for other categories.
