• Candidates must have passed HSLC or an equivalent examination from any Central or State-recognized Board.
• Candidates must have passed the Recorder Certificate Class Course Training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40, as per the advertisement for RCCC Training Examination issued by the Office of the Director of Land Records. Assam (except Sixth Schedule districts/other States).
• Candidates must have proficiency in the use of Computers and Information Technology, having a minimum 30 words per minute computer typing speed in Assamese/Bengali

Assam Land Records Assistant Exam Pattern

• The written exam contains 80 marks of MCQs.
• 10 Marks MCQs of mathematics, 50 Marks MCQs of Conventional Survey, 20 Marks MCQs of Modern Survey
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.
• Skill Test has 20 Marks weightage.
• The minimum qualifying marks for general candidates is 40% (32+8) and for other category candidates 30% (24+6).
